A Center for Children
with Down Syndrome
in Russia

Up with Down is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to glorifying God by improving the quality of life for children with Down Syndrome, their families, and the community in which they live.

About Us

Located in Voronezh, Russia, the center will use a Christian school enviroment to teach the children how to have a personal relationship with God and introduce them to biblical teachings through scripture. It is the goal of the center to foster an attitude of love and understanding towards these children. God has already done some amazing things with the center.

The Up with Down Center was founded by Frank Baxter after making several mission trips to Voronezh, Russia. While on these trips, God opened Frank's heart to the need that Russia has for children with Down Syndrome. In Russia, these children are rejected by society and generally do not have the opportunity to attend public schools.

At the time of the mission trips, Frank was volunteering at a school in Tulsa, Oklahoma called The Little Light House. It was at this school that Frank learned about Down Syndrome and discovered his passion for helping kids with special needs. In a step of faith, Frank decided to open the center in Vonorezh and allow God to work miracles in the lives of these children and their families

Foundation Scripture

"And He (Jesus) took a child, and set him in the midst of them; and when had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me." Mark 9:36-37

Donations

The Up with Down Center operates a monthly budget that is solely supplied from donations. These donations help provide support and resources for the teachers and students. It is our prayer that you would join us in supporting this center and be blessed by creating a better life for some extraordinary kids.
